The CityCup is: more races, more tracks, more days, more sport, more fun! The CityCup remains: As always, it is THE regatta where each team races ITS cup in its performance level and thus has a chance to win trophies, fame and honour in ITS cup! The CityCup offers: • The 200m Mixed of the first day as the core of our CityCup. Whether beginners, ambitious company teams, experienced fun teams or international firecrackers: Through the qualifying races for the three cups, every level of performance will find its suitable opponent. This means that the chances are equal for everyone and there will be exciting races until the end! • “Beat the WannSeas!” Challenge the WannSea Dragons in 3 curious competitions and win a cash prize in addition to the radiant splendour of victory over these legends of dragon boating! • “Night of the Danced Shoes” At the legendary dragon boat party in the athletes’ supply of the regatta course on Saturday evening. In addition, there are these options: • CityCup teams with curiosity and ambitions will receive the following at the CityCup: – more routes – more days: besides Saturday also Sunday Each CityCup team can register in its racing class for the 100m, 500m or 1000m at no additional cost, also for all three additional distances! (Starting places limited, receipt of the registration decides). • Friends of the small boat have their races at the CityCup The highlight of the Berlin City Cup is always the legendary dragon boat party in the athletes’ catering area under the Olympic Café on Saturday evening until sunrise. Participation is mandatory, because dragon boat without a party is (at least) not our sport! On the following pages you will find an overview of all the necessary information about tracks and racing classes, a provisional schedule, the usual formal announcement and the conditions of participation. Pink – Breast Cancer Paddlers (BCP) • at least 16 paddlers must be Breast Cancer Paddlers (BCP) as defined by the Pink Paddling Initiative. • a maximum of 4 non-affected paddlers are allowed. • the drummer and helmsman/woman do not need to be affected. • 50% of the entry fee will be donated to an organization committed to the fight against breast cancer! • if 6 or more teams register, a dedicated cup with time trials will be held. If fewer than 6 teams register, the race format will follow the rules of the women’s category. * limited number of participants maximum 12 teams (the time of registration decides)

100 meter = elimination races – last man standing

200 Meter = heat, semi final, final runs

500 Meter = heat, semi final, final runs

1000 Meter = time runs

Each team will receive a certificate, and the top three will also receive trophies.

Every Crew receives a certificate. The first placed crews will win a trophy as well. Entrance fee : Adult: 2 EUR (every crew gets 25 x free entry, Smallboat 14 x free entry) Children less than 14 years: freely Catering You can find a big food area with lots of tasty catering offers.
